Every time I start writing my blog, I think of writing some general topics or some informative stuff which would be helpful but you can find the same in Wikipedia as well… But then I realize that I am writing my blog for myself , for putting my thoughts and now a days there is no time to think about anybody or anything but myself my future .. Though I feel like I am thinking too much about the things which are not in our hands and which has to be taken as life grants, I couldn’t help it..
Well this weekend , went for shopping but couldn’t find anything worth after roaming about 7 hours and Sunday as usual went for grocery soon after getting up and went to frnd’s place and had some good homemade mooli ka parathas and Gobi ki parathas…well even got myself praised for making good dosas,, ;-) (as rest of the people being from north and can’t make good ones..My talent is recognized)
Today I was speaking to my school friend after 10 long years but I felt nothing weird or like a stranger though it is quite long since we last spoke ,talking about school days , I felt so nice bringing back old memories...They were commenting on my attitude and my things as I used to bring all foreign stuff, pens, pencils ,chocolates to school as my father used to stay abroad.. Funny isn’t it…
Staying abroad, being brought up in a luxurious manner...Everything is fine but there are days in my life which is full of tension, there was a war declared where Riyadh was made as the starting point. Though there is no school, my dad has still had to go to office...And whenever there is a bomb alert , there used a alarm in the TV..There used to be precautions to be taken care of like..Everybody should get into one room and seal it with tapes so that the hazardous substances don’t enter… There should be a wet cloth always by the side in order to help yourself when fire broke out and a oxygen gas mask is given like the one astronauts wear for the oxygen supply when bomb explodes..All the exports and imports were at halt, prices increased and there was always limited quantity of dal, rice which were sold as there is no import of it ,There used to a siren in the TV and at the end of each street and none should come out until it dies..Though I was quite young at that time, I can still remember the tension, the fear in people’s face particularly my mom’s who is a scary cat and gets frightened for even small things also..
I remember going back to India crossing some countries like Abu Dhabi in a bus then taking a flight as there were no flights traveling to other countries except for war flights which are huge and frightening..All I can say is, if things are good you will be happy but there can be things which we can’t handle and we should be bold enough to face them as well. Even at that time only I and my mom came back while my dad still stayed back. I don’t know what they thought and what their parents would have thought in their minds but now if I am in the same situation, my parents definitely for sure, they wouldn’t have allowed me to stay back.
But once my family came back to India to settle down , as a kid things were not easy for me as in not able to speak my mother tongue properly, couldn’t read or write my 2nd language which is my mother tongue. Telugu exam used to be an exam for my mother who has to take lot of effort to get me some pass marks and used to get scoldings from my telugu teacher as my sis used to score well (disgusting she is in 2nd and me in 8th learning her syallbus+mine, obviously she will score more...),…and rest o the students see at you like an alien for some months thinking that you are acting so much ,not talking local language etc,… Then after sometime I was able to learn the language which made my life easier…well now that I have come a long way and there is lots more.. now that I get applauds for my way of speaking Telugu .I really thank my parents for inducing proper kind of behavior and sentiments because of which helped me cope up with the society and bare with it..…After all said..I feel …everything is planned and it will be executed in the same manner if you like or don’t like..

College life..the best
I am having a chat with my cousin and he is working on some webpage and he wants to put down his 24 years of life and then I realized that even I have lived 24 years and going to complete my 25th soon..
When I look back, recall my memories, so many things crossed my mind both happy and sorrow ...Though its 5 years since I have graduated from college...My memories are still so vivid and so fresh that I can feel them happening in front of my eyes...
I don’t even know where to start and to whom to start with… Though there are different phases of life, I think, I have enjoyed my college life the most. I can still remember the day when I went to Coimbatore to get an admission in the ECE engineering because of this one sole reason ECE, I went that far else I would have got into any college near my hometown. Now I don’t even remember what a diode or a transistor is… sometimes its funny when I think that I have taken a lot of interest and effort in getting into it but now landed up somewhere else doing some funny stuff on the computer…
To talk about life in Coimbatore, it is so different, beautiful weather all round the year, wonderful hospitality of kovai people, nice temples, 2 hours from ooty, and lots of flowers, educational city, and industrial city as well. Women and college going girls still put flowers in their hair; they still put bindi, kumkum on their face. Unlike metropolitan cities, the tradition still exists. They have a lot of respect for elders by calling them anna(brother) and akka(sister) irrespective of their social status which is highly appreciated.
As my college being a Hindu missionary , though strict , it has taught a lot, to believe in God, to thank God Everyday,to respect ur professors, to be punctual ( as we should have 90% attendance) .Even the view is very beautiful which is one of the reasons to chose it., There is a big stretch of Nilgiri mountains behind and coconut farms in the front view.. Sometimes the clouds used to come so near that, we feel like as though we can touch it or grab it...Though there are some things which we couldn’t stand like bad food which is quite nutritious( Our chairperson is world wide renowned 'amma avargal' in the field of food and nutrition..;-) ),college and hostel used to be full of fun.. It being a deemed university and girls college... There used to be gals from all over India but everybody are quite fond of each other irrespective of the region barriers which made me a liberal minded, warm and friendly person.
Living far from family where you don’t even have relatives and in a different environment with different culture where u have to depend on only friends. Lucky me...I had couple of my school friends with me particularly Lahari without whom I wouldn’t have thought of staying there...that really taught me the value of people and friends, to share, to respect others feelings, to adjust to different mentalities and surroundings, behave with proper attitude, competitive spirit which will not hinder friendship and lastly, not the least, the sole purpose why we are there... to study...To score well is never left behind.
I can still remember the days when we came out of college hostel and started residing in a private hostel, again new people, and some really wonderful girls whom I will never forget in my life. I know a girl who used to be my roommate who became my best friend;a very really sweet person...I never saw her getting mad at me, making weird faces or complaining for unnecessary things. I have learned to be patient, think upon the situation and to think twice before speaking. She is so down to earth, no ego feelings though utterly beautiful... She is awesome...I just want to say, Anitha thanks for being a part of my life... Thanks for being my friend…
Some real good friends, late night talks, making fun of each other...Celebrating frnd’s bdays...Particularly one of my frnd’s bday happened when we went for a fun trip to ooty and we reached there quite late...there were 3 of us searched almost all the ooty shops for a cake and finally managed with some tea cake and chocolates…that was psyche going out knowing nothing abt the place in chill weather at night…quite scary if I think of it now..This credit goes to Gowthami who is quite daring giving thunderous looks with her big eyes..:) buddus u rock..
Things used to be so funny, like most of my friends use me like an alarm as I am very poor sleeper who wakes up even for very small sounds...Then comes the exams, .as usual we think of studying everything beforehand which never happens and ends up in one day batting .As it is a private hostel, we used to have gals from different colleges whose exam dates differ from ours..So there comes real friendship... hehhehe... Everybody used to share the portion and explain to us so that we can score pass marks... Trips to ooty , kovai kutralam falls, temples and more importantly not to forget our vacations and train journeys to home together in one train …are so memorable. There used to be a Kerala express which starts from Kerala with final destination to be Delhi... so around 150 or 200 of us use to board the same train with different destinations when we used to go home for holidays... It used to be full of fun, comments, pulling legs…best moments of my life...
There used to be gals from ooty with good educational background who are quite broad minded doing some tourism management...I really want to appreciate them in pursuing some different course with a different motive in life. These gals used to be a barrel of monkeys who r quite boisterous and yet so helpful expecially when our cheques come late ( particularly Indra(my landlady) who didnt even have a bank account and will have some 10k or 15k in her bag for surviving 6 months probably..).., it used to be like in the month starting, we used lead a luxurious life going to big restaurants, movies and... If it is bourbon biscuits in the month starting, it used to be tiger biscuits in the month ending...now though we have lots of money in hand... we still are not satisfied and continuously search for a better life which is ridiculous but cant help it…
There used to be regional feelings and fights in the mess to watch TV, as some opt for Hindi and some opt for Tamil…but at the end of the day, everything is forgotten which is the best part..
Almost all of my friends are quite easy going and doesnt take things to heart which is very nice and that helped to sustain good relationships..
There used to be days where we used to come late to hostel and say some cock and bull stories to my warden to enter inside the hostel crossing PEGGY( the Dog) ... I remember one day when my friend just joined our hostel and then we decided to have coffee in the ‘coffee day’...So went all the way in a bus to have it... Then lost the way... But then after some struggle asking locals about directions ( When we ask people who travels in bus about coffee day shop, who will know it..my bad..) ...finally made it… but then we realized that its quite late and we gotta go back soon... and as we decided on that, rain started pouring down and to our bad luck , there were no autos in the sight ..again my bad..So we just went just like that with no umbrella in the heavy rain, dripping wet ,but had to make a story again but even that failed as my warden’s daughter was also there in that shop whom we didn’t notice … so got a bash...Huh... Tiresome day... But had a good laugh at our adventure after going upstairs...
There used to be some 10 gals in our hostel and some 10 -15 close frnds in collg who used to hangout together...We used to go for movies 'hindi movies' with those who dont understand it and pass on a running commentary disturbing other people...but never caring about it ..shoooot I was this crap!!!..Industrial tour to Chennai, industrial training in PRICOL, the leading auto meters company in Asia were all so informative and the days are cherish able..
I will never forget priyas who helped me all through the journey in Coimbatore...The beautiful Gujarati temple, particularly Ganesha temple where we can see the aarthi even when u just pass by that temple.Archie's gallery where we spent all of our savings buying gifts..project works...
Though there are lots and lots more...Well I think now it’s time to pen "down"...
I wish all the happiness for everybody..

Thank you God...!!!
Here I go again,
After a long time being out of ideas and not knowing what to put in , here I am with nothing interesting happening, routine life which is quite boring at times when I think where I am hitting on..
sometimes scary though, when I think where I would land up.
But today I sincerely want to thank God for giving me such a wonderful life and gr8 friends.. I realized it recently after meeting couple of people who are completely different from me having different thoughts, ambitions more importantly
'the difference which I cant stand' and if I would have met them earlier. May be.. I couldn’t have handled them and my life would have been miserable.
Though I don’t know how my future would be.. to now.. I have so many wonderful people in my life without whom I wouldn’t have been this happy person...
I thank God for giving me the best family in the world, who will not force me into anything I don’t like and who guides me the right direction and to love me ,to be there with me the whole of my life.
Life has taught me so many things. In my opinion, everything can be achieved, ur aim, ambition, loved ones... But everything is possible only if you have patience.
Sometimes we just have to keep faith in God and wait for the right things to happen.
Sometimes when I get frustrated, I think of quitting my job and curse myself for coming so far … but then I forget that.. I cant sit at home for long. This staying far from family helped me really to become bold and think of one, ah thinking! These days am not even getting a break… which I cant even help, Virgo by destiny ;-)
These days, some times I even think that I should have done my school and college in some local areas and get married at 20 years or so..which would have shut my mind from so many flowing thoughts and which wouldn’t have given me the scope to think about my future or career and which would have shut my freedom and increase the dependency on someone even to buy a new dress…Instead of going so far for studying which helped me to learn to live on my own , mingle with people, sharing and caring for others or working in different places which helped me earn my bread and butter ..Wow!!!
Well, they say everything happens for a reason, and I don’t know why some things happen to make ur life miserable ,May be becoz u have to dig through so many stones to find gold.. lets c..wass gonna happen.. !!!

Like the Thought..
Many times we see ourselves in depths of life. We look around, only to find that we are alone. We look down, only to know that we are down at the deepest point in life. We look up, only to know that the whole world is on the top. And then we give up. Give up without thinking what we can learn.
We need to know that - only when we have seen the deepest points of life, we would be able to appreciate the peaks of life, what life can offer and what we can possibly achieve.
When we are down, don't give up on yourself. At this moment, every step that you take... lifts you up. It does.
We need to know that - only when we have seen the deepest points of life, we would be able to appreciate the peaks of life, what life can offer and what we can possibly achieve.
When we are down, don't give up on yourself. At this moment, every step that you take... lifts you up. It does.

Wonders of the world
Well, finally sat down to write again...
Its weekend again, days are just flying.it has been 2 years now since I came to united states and I dont realize it,Days have passed so fast that it is surprising if I think about it and the journey I have been through.
Life has its ups and downs but again, its life.. it will be like that.
The weather this weekend is awesome, its bright and sunny...the snow has completely melt but as i am little sick,
I couldnt afford to go out. But I have spent time at home getting good sleep, watching nice movies.
Sometimes, it is weird that we feel that we dont have anybody around, boring day..not knowing wat to do,scolding ourselves being landed up here
and sometimes, we feel like we have lot of things to do and dont even have time to see whether there are any body around us
and sometimes it is , we need our space, we dont want anybody to disturb us and we get busy in doing things which please us.
well, the good thing is there is a difference .. it is not same thing happening ,sometimes more fun. sometimes laid back happily.
yesterday i watched a movie "When in Rome" which is released in 2004 I guess. It is a cute movie and it has shown the beautiful Rome in a much beautiful manner.
I wish someday I will travel all over Europe..Venice,Spain,Rome,Paris.. every part of it.
Some places are so good with great history that you dont have words to describe if we think of those.Visiting places which are 2000 years old ,I feel that
there would be something in its air , some wonderful feeling, some sort of pride, honour, something which I cannot describe ,the same feeling when I saw Taj mahal in India.
Beautiful architecture, flawless..not only the great Taj mahal, but even a temple for me and the depictions on the stones like the temples near bangalore halebeedu, Sravana belogola,
temples in warangal, I feel so astonished seeing them , and I just want to wave a big hats off to the sculptors,What a dedication and patience these people would have,What an art they can perform. I seriously envy the people who can draw or paint very well. Its a god given gift which aare truly adorable and perishable.
I dont know how many people are satisfied with the so called white collar jobs... but when you really do with ur inborn talent that is when the real happiness, that feeling of achievement makes our heart jump in the air .
I think the modern world is giving more preference to the architecture of the building as a whole and the interior design more than beautiful sculptures,
it is colors more than the figures which depicted culture of the society.I think, there is a lot of information about our ancestors and their lifestyle in those
pictures and now if our life syle is not depicted , then how will our successors know about us and the way we had live... well these are beyond my thoughts..
In India, we can see a lot of potters, weavers, sculptors in the rural areas where their talent doesnt even feed their stomach full.Sometimes I feel so bad about it.
Here they bring those master pieces and sell them in dollars and make huge profits.
Well a glimpse of our wonders of the world

Happy Holi
Hi I am back again..
This week is a busy week and weekend is full o fun..movie,friends,
good food, barbecue, dumb charades. It is very good.
I think after a long time ,one of my friend brought a grill and everybody sat around it making fire sitting in the chill weather, fighting for the place near fire, I was reminded about my
childhood days where we used to go to my grandmother's village in winter holidays,
get up in the early morning before the fog goes down.As my grandmother had a lot of cattle, there used to be heaps of hay around, we used to grab it make fire and sit around it warming up ourselves till we get a loud shout from my mom to come inside.
Ah! villages in India are the most beautiful parts that too being from coastal areas where there is plenty of water, lot of ponds with lotus flowers, streams, big big green farms, rangolis, bullock carts, sleeping under the moonlight, roses, guava trees, gooseberries..hmmmm...wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that we are grown ups , have lot of responsibilities but still taking time for friends and family members, forget about everybody , we feel good and nice about ourselves. Its good feeling when you think u have somebody to take care of u listen to u and guide u in a proper manner.
I think memories are the God given gift to us which is the only thing which leaves us connected.
Well, Thanks to my neighbors who are extremely friendly who has shown good hospitality including me and my roomie n their big team.
Tomorrow is Holi,I remember the days in our college where we have put a lot of color and my
warden made us clean it, Well that was so embarrassing but memorable fun filled moments..
well now, forget about colors and a holiday, I doubt how many people living here remember it.
Back in India, every festival is so special.. Friends and relatives come home and it used to be so busy and so lively. Here to say hi also, we have to take an appointment of the host before going to their place.
There will be always positive and negative aspects when we are brought up in one kind of culture and we land up in a different one.
If you have good friends and family or at least a strong heart u r rewarded.
But definitely learning is there.. u tend to become strong ,forgive and forget. You grow up from a person where you think he whole world is alike
to a person who sees the world in real and realize that every part of it is different.
Well, everything happens for good.
Have a blasting and safe Holi with Eco-friendly colors..enjoyyyyyyyyy

Gone are those days...
Gone all the days
When we used to be hours with our friends
Now er don't have the time to day HI
Gone all the days
when we used sit to chat with friends on grounds
Now we rarely chat in the chat rooms
Gone all the days when we used to study just to pass
Now study to save our jobs
Gone all the days when we used to have no money in our pockets
and still fun filled our hearts
Now we have tons which are of no use...
Gone all the days when we shouted on roads
now we rarely speak
Gone all the days
but not the memories
which will be lingering in our heart for ever and ever
Remember, there is no point in being grown up if you be
childish sometimes
We have not passed that subtle line between childhood nad
adulthood until.. we have stopped saying
"It got lost" and say "I lost it"
Always make time and say Hi
Give them one of yours :)
when u find anyone without a smile
Why worry and ahve wrinkles
when u can smile and have dimples:)
Smile and spread smiles..:)

Insignificant things sometimes are wotrh doing it
Time to start again after a lot of dormancy...
This weekend is fun and lot of work.. i just love going out doors with frnds or going for a movie or bowling where I did all of these this weekend.. I am gonna do lot of cooking also today as my frnds are coming down for lunch 2moro...
Cooking is one thing which I like and adding more to that I like to cook for frnds.
Today saw a movie called shutter island ( not completely true, I cam out in the midway) I felt it boring and good that the theater is in the nice mall so had a nice walk..:)
If u have good set of people around, which ever place u stay either it is India or America or any other place,it will be heaven.. nicely going out, play come back home..
cooking late night... having food together, u should be really lucky to have all this fun.
I remember one day in hyderabad, my frnds made chapathi for me at 2 am in the morning when we got hungry staying awake for a lot of time...
There used to be days where we get up late, get ready and go to a movie where a restaurant is inside the theater ... get the tickets, have food ,watch the movie, come back have snacks ,then go to a shopping center then find a auto ,everybody trying to fit into one.. going home...those days were real gud times where we had lot of fun..
Having a lot of frnds..college frnds, colleagues everybody at one place in Hyderabad, the time used to fly like anything.
now, if at all anybody are coming to our house, We just make 3 or 4 dishes by default, back in India making one good dish used to be like a great deal of work which needs a lot of effort, keeping mom on phone , asking neighbors all the missing ingredients, its so funny thinking of all these and I am sure these would have happened in each one of our lives. We finally learn things and manage them as well, that to if u stay out of the country by yourself, u tend to become more independent, individuality improves.I think the level of patience increases greatly.
Most of the people I saw here have a good helping nature, that too with Indians , there is feeling of one and unity is great.
It is just that some things we do though they are insignificant , when we are reminded of them, they truly are worth doing it.

This is mostly me...:)
As a rule, Virgo is attracted to someone who possess good conversation skills. They love to talk and surround themselves with friends who are even-tempered, nonchalant, and intellectually stimulating.
If you're planning a date with a Virgo, try and avoid noisy places especially with lewd or obscene entertainment. The Virgo's reserved nature and insistence of good taste, would get more pleasure from a quiet restaurant with soft music playing in the background, than from a rock and roll concert. They would prefer a place where the two of you can talk. You'll probably find the Virgo to be very interesting and be able to discuss almost anything with them.
However, don't be in a hurry to jump right in and ask too much about their personal affairs, since they may find it to be an intrusion of privacy. It's a rare occurrence for a Virgo to hand out praise, so if you're looking for constant flattery, you may want to keep looking.
While on the contrary, if you're looking for advice or an opinion on a certain matter, the Virgo will gladly participate.
Virgo's are careful planners and are constantly seeking personal achievement and financial security. They won't put up with frivolous spending habits and won't jump into a serious relationship without looking ahead first. Most likely they are seeking a partner with practical ambitions exactly like themselves.
Once the Virgo has found someone worthy to share their life with, they will always be loyal and provide plenty of happiness. This responsible, sensitive, and intellectual person takes love very seriously.
Although they may appear aloof, and distant at times, they are very sensual and warm people. If you win them over, you will be more than rewarded with a prosperous and memorable life with them.

This is just the beginning,...
Friends.. Today after a long time went downstairs, helped a friend in making pasta, had food with friends.
I felt so good, leg pulling, cracking jokes, bitching each other.. It is lot of fun..
But here this happens occasionally. Though being quite social,I don't get into people unless somebody calls me for a get together and
that will not happen always unless you work with them or they really close to you.
I personally feel like for a person like me, it is really difficult to become close to people , may be because I don't ask questions or interfere
unless they speak out or that I maintain the distance ,not pouring all my things out or the trust doesn't develop so easily
or might have the fear of losing them,
These are the reasons may be why I couldn't make any best friends in my life..may be one or two in my school or collg, but now even they have got married
or their priorities changed.I think being friendly is different from making friends ,just to be friendly ..lots and loads of them ...
My neighbor asks me like why I am on the computer for most of my time ,but I then proudly say that "at least ,am not on the phone".
May be this is not too bad, you can engage yourself without bothering anybody
and I do connect with a lot of people and my family on the gtalk or orkut as most of them are quite active on it
and unless I think very deep,I don't feel bad.
Everyday is different and each day should make a person strong to stand anything in life
I sometimes think that , I desperately need a break but when the time between u finish one project and start on another, the mean time I could
never accept it as a break..I got frustrated,irritated.. couldn't speak to frnds or family properly.I made things hard for myself...
There were days when my dad told to just pack my things and come back but again.. things happen and life goes on with new opportunities..
and later I regret that I should have enjoyed that time which I don't really get easily.
I should really appreciate my cousin and my frnd Satish who took very good care of me without letting my will power down..having brought up in a protective and pampering environment,
having not seen so much of troubles,I was not able to take such a small thing in a light manner.
That's why they say u learn by experience...
Well all I can say is, we are not the people what we are yesterday neither we will not be same 2moro as we are now...
just that try to adjust to the surroundings..be easy with yourself and whenever ur time comes..just grab it and njoy it..
When you have people around ,enjoy,When they need any help... do ur best...
Try to develop a variety of interests..be adventurous
People say that , everything happens for a reason... So just wait and learn what life is teaching you.
Remember this is just the beginning... ;-)

Fortlauderdale.. WOW!!!!... awesome time
Today is a nice sunny day,I can see the snow melting standing near my balcony listening to beautiful Telugu ilayaraja songs.
When I started staring at the park which is opposite to my balcony and see nobody there.. I remember the days when I am in Florida
where it is full of life.. children play all the year round..flowers bloom, nice roses, hibiscus and I know some Indians do plant
mango trees and guava trees as well... nice green lawn beside a lake with ducks quaking.. big big fish at the sparkle of your eyes,
people often do fishing in their boats, bright sun..shadow giving trees..more importantly wonderful people around..Man I am missing it soooo much.
That place is full of life..If u are bored and have nothing to do.. just go the fortlauderdae downtown .. do nothing.. just see people around and
the shops, though I cant afford anything to buy as a small painting costs around $3000..I used to enjoy it,used to love walking through the roads till the beach...
There used to be a mall in a mile distance from the place where we live,I and my roomie used to walk to it almost every alternate days..
Here I cant even think of going for a walk as it is too cold..
But Denver is amazing in summer..all greenery around with snow cap mountains.. Man it is an awesome view.
I remember the days in Florida where me and my three other frnds without whom my stay would have been impossible, used to go to fortlauderdale
beach on the full moon days after finishing cold stone ice-cream sitting on the pavement in the parking plot, we used to sit on the big wall which is the entrance to beach and talk about nothing but everything in the world.. relationships..interests,career,movies,fun,plans for next weekend.. what not...seeing the dark sky ,the beach waters which is quite strong during the full moon day, the cool breeze of the coconut trees..that time there,we can easily get the feeling that we are in the different world..believe me, it is beautiful than Pandora...
Now I don't even want to go to Florida with anybody except these 3 guys... I just don't want to replace my memories ...they are soo beautiful...
I still remember the samosas in the Chinese restaurant beside the big lake..Miami downtown, woodlands, south beach, where we are in the sea for more than 5 hours getting badly tanned and getting lot of scodings from family and friends..daytona beach..sanibel beach, nasa, alligator alley, the cruise trip, sawgrass mall..
more importantly the Keywest trip during Hurricane warning..It was wonderful...
Sandhitha, Venkat, Vamshi.. Love u guys..will never forget u in my life..
Sandhita.. the top u have sent for me is the best ... Vamshi u r the God given gift... sweetest bro in the world.. Venkat.. need not say.. without u the fun wouldn't have been possible..u r awesome and charm of the team...
All of us.. almost having the same mentality.. always happening.. We never used say we r tired or some other time.. always chale chalo...
Love u guyz always...

Compromise...:(
Well, today is a boring day, expecially during the day time, but still ok.. I did househols chores, arranged my shelves..
did some yoga, talked to my mom and couple of friends int he evening.
All days are not alike.. sometimes more fun, sometimes it gets to be too serious..In life we dont get all we want,my parents say
that we have to compromise and they say that almost half of my life is finished and is just 30 or 40 years ahead and why think so much about this small life,
just accept watever u get and be happy.. but the 'compromise' always confuses me.. I know I have to compromise , but to wat levell is that
I couldnt decide on... somethings the things which I think are very important are useless in my parents view..
Am I wrong? are my parents correct?
What I feel is we both are correct in our views , the generation gap may be is the problem..,
Till now my parents havent restricted me in any instance.a.nd they did a lot for me... giving the best in class education ,a wonderful life, more importantly 'freedom'
complete motivation ...but now when it comes to marriage..which is the most important in my life..why there is a series of fights between parents and ,mself..
and this happens between every gal and and their family...
When such things happend I always thought that if I were a boy it would have been much more easier for me..
Is that am I thinking so muchor am I being rude to my parents.. I dont know..
All I think is each person has a different prority and u r lucky if u can proritize ur requirements in a right manner.

Want to change
After getting into tis software field... I lost all my good habits.. like reading books.. solving puzzles, news
I always wanted a come back and start reading again.. writing...
I think in last November , i started reading the lost symbol... still I didn't complete.. I started reading on the computer, then
stole the book from brother.. but it is just lying around.. i dint even touch it.
I wanted to stop orkutting for some days..
I just don't want to see some profiles.. but I still see them,..
Sometimes when I think of all these things ,
i question my will power or my self control and decide that I have to plan properly
do things which has to done and be a organized person bla bla bla
but the next day i get up, same story again..
Now that the weekend has come .. long weekend to be specific.. I think
after so many days I am feeling, man weekend.. Wat to do..
It is so boring that even my roomie went out and staying alone all the day doing nothing or so productive.. cant even go out.. it is freezing and very cold outside..
Man, I am just hating it..
But i know this will not continue for long.. lets hope for the best
.. hope I will try to change and become a person who is responsible and
be organized...and try to put things in order..:)

One of my Fav story
Stopped By A Brick
About ten years ago, a young and very successful executive named Josh was traveling down a Chicago neighborhood street. He was going a bit too fast in his sleek, black, 12-cylinder Jaguar XKE, which was only two months old. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no child darted out, but a brick sailed out and -- WHUMP! -- it smashed into the Jag's shiny black side door! SCREECH...!!!! Brakes slammed! Gears ground into reverse, and tires madly spun the Jaguar back to the spot from where the brick had been thrown.
Josh jumped out of the car, grabbed the kid and pushed him up against a parked car. He shouted at the kid, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing?!" Building up a head of steam, he went on. "That's my new Jag, that brick you threw is gonna cost you a lot of money. Why did you throw it?"
"Please, mister, please...I'm sorry! I didn't know what else to do!" pleaded the youngster. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop!"
Tears were dripping down the boy's chin as he pointed around the parked car. "It's my brother, Mister," he said. "He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up." Sobbing, the boy asked the executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."
Moved beyond words, the young executive tried desperately to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat.
Straining, he lifted the young man back into the wheelchair and took out his handkerchief and wiped the scrapes and cuts, checking to see that everything was going to be OK. He then watched the younger brother push him down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long walk back to the sleek, black, shining, 12-cylinder Jaguar XKE - a long and slow walk.
Josh never did fix the side door of his Jaguar. He kept the dent to remind him not to go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at him to get his attention.
---- What a great story!
At times in our lives, we tend to become so wrapped up in other things. We become focused on ourselves or our job we do not realize there are others around us that need our help.
We can react in a negative way to a situation without fully realizing or taking the time to look at the other persons situation, or to take the time to find out the reason the other person has taken the action that they did.

Feeling good..:)
oh Its Sunday again..
But this weekend is fun went ot movie.. bowling.. friend's place..
and temple on Sunday...
my weekend is little happening after a long time ,else in this winter , in this snow, man i cant stand this cold, i feel like sitting at home all the time cozy in my blanket.
With so many people , I realized today not only me , everybody has problems..
everybody gets upset with them and finally tomorrow is thr again..
Have patience and fight against the odds..everything will be OK..
But it feels so nice when your friend comes from some other to meet you, it never happened to me as such but when I see such type of people who travel for friends for having fun .. I envy them...warm hugs , recollection of past memories.. going out , that is what we can truly cherish.
ITs always good to have reunions with old friends which makes those moments special in our life.
I made it a point to meet school frnds in my engg holidays .. it continued till my engineering, but later on ambitions, jobs, higher studies couldnt make it again.Dont know when it will happen again..now that so many people ..school frnds, +2 frnds, collg frnds, old company's...but whom I want to meet?

Thinking Thinking Thinking...
Getting up late on Saturdays and having a nice cup of strong coffee sitting near my balcony...taking my own time to take the next sip..man,
I feel this is heaven...:)
After a long time , I went to shopping yesterday...don't know why , i just love to go to mall..
roaming around all the clothing stores, window shopping..where I am no exception to womanhood :), I say window shopping but every time
i end up buying something or the other...
even there just love to grab a coffee from Starbucks, go to the children play area and sit near the fountain watching
people ,kids..It makes me feel so relaxed...I get a feeling that I am not alone and there are plenty of things happening around..
When I have thought of writing.. I just thought no matter wat ever people think.. i write wat ever i want.
but now what I feel is , it is very difficult..I am just not getting any clue as of what to write..
kudos to all the novelists , writers.. wat patience they have and wat intellectual ability they possess and write..
Do they write for themselves or for us..
If it is for us man..I really appreciate their power to think what others would like... that is may be the only reason why they are so successful..
that hardwork really pays..
Well when i say thinking,... man... I can sit hours together doin nothing but getting lost in my thoughts.
There are days when I went to bed at 9 or so ,but didn't sleep till 3 am
I used to get frustrated on those days as i couldn't control my dreams or thoughts and I couldn't even sleep...
Many people suggested doing yoga helps for this.. But i never took it seriously.. now that I am realizing, may be I have to take up a good way to overcome this..
Sometimes I feel so happy dreaming as my dreams have a happy ending always...but on the other hand I am wasting a lot of time..
Imagining things is good but thinking so much about things which are not practically possible and thinking about those things when you know that they are
not going to happen for sure is not only a waste of time but when you realize that thye are not going to happen.. you start feeling sad.. depressed..
So guys Think a lot.. think about future.. think about the ways to achieve them.. But try to gain control over it.. work on it...
Be happy happy happy always...
I feel this is heaven...:)

My Laptop - my baby:good or bad...
ok..now comes the second one...
well today is gr8... well today i don't have so much work at office..
after all being human and more being Indian, when we think we r getting paid though we didn't do a lot..and when we think that we are getting something for free... man... we enjoy that thought a lot though that will not last for long...:(
After coming to United states and now that I am comfortably settled( "I dont know really what comfortable means'),as soon as I come from work... first thing i do is switch on my laptop...
Whole of my day except for 7 or 8 hours i sleep , I spend rest all of my time with it..
it just became part of my life... i dont think I can live without internet for a moment also...
I just get irritated.. frustrated if at all my my internet connection is lost for a while..
I see this happening not only to me but to many youngsters these days that too more importantly for people staying abroad...
Is this addiction really good...is it really healthy... r we connecting to the world.. or disconnecting from people
are we gaining a lot of knowledge or just wasting time on it...
Well to me ,it is a source to pass my time..may be this would change in couple of months or years...
I say start realizing this... think about alternative ways...there must be something more that excites you than playing farm ville alone on ur computer..now that I don't give you the list if things u can do... guys think...choose...Can we get out of this.. or are we good the way we are now...or is this all we can do to engage our selves..
Life change.. priorities change... more importantly people change...So what ever you are now... what ever habits we posess now..we r human... a person...everything is susceptible to change....and remember every time this change should make us a better human being...:)

Started putting my thoughts into words
Hi guyz..
finally started writing..i always wanted to write...but couldnt make it anytime , may be because of not knowing what to write... or maye fear that somebody would say what all I have written is crap..or I not that bold enough to write my thoughts...
But today I started..I wanna give it a try...I want to put down all my thoughts...
lets see how my first blog goes...
Today I see the calendar and its already Feb,lovers season...All love birds busy shooping for their loved ones...but once I thought about the gifts, I remember my school days and collg days where we really meant and gave the gifts.... we shopped for our dear ones...I remember it when one of my frnd bday... and we went down all the streets for the poster of Ajit Agarkar as she is a big fan of him...and finally managed to get it in one small shop after several hours...and it was so much fun.... and the feeling as if I have got a million dollar prize when I got it...I will never forget it and when I saw my frnd's eyes sparkiling with happiness when she got the one shereally wanted... wow....I felt soo good...proud of myself... But now...we hardly knw the preferences and tastes of our friends... we give gift cards on birthdays.... i never remmeber putting a reminder for my frnd' s bday... but now we hardly remember what day it is....Most if the times.. for me.. it happens like.. I remember my frnd's bday .. but dont wish her coz...i dont know the wht is the date today.....Why this is happening... r we so busy with our lifes that we dont have time for anybody else...Cant we make small small occassions special...
Well.. remembering ocassions and making moments special is in our hands...a sweet smile ... a nice hug...can make us feel special..,..
When ever u feel lonely.. neglected..just try to recall all the moments from your childhood ...try to recall you childhood frnds.. collg frnds... the work groups whom you have enjyed the most with...try to get in contact .... spend some time with people....
Thanks to the internet which helped us to keep in touch where ever we are....
Work .. goals.. aims... aspirations...all are necessary..but aceving all these would be more easy if u are happy...if u have good friends and famiy whose constant support hlp you to reach the heights...
Guys , its is our hands to be happy ...so enjoy every moment... talk to people.. openup to your family....
Do what ever you want.. As long as it doesnt hurt anybody... u r good...
